CELEBRATING 45 YEARS

A LITTLE HISTORY_

DAW REFRIGERATION WAS STARTED BY CHRIS AND PENNY DAW 45 YEARS AGO. AFTER COMPLETING AN ENGINEERING APPRENTICESHIP WITH BT, ELDEST SON OLLIE JOINED THE TEAM IN 2011.

FAST FORWARD A COUPLE OF YEARS AND the OPPORTUNITY arose TO TAKE ON THE DELAVAL DEALERSHIP FOR MID DEVON - firstLY CONVENTIONAL MILKING EQUIPMENT in 2013, then ADDING ROBOTIC MILKING IN 2017. the operation has since EXPANDED TO COVER An AREA STRETCHING across devon, up INTO north cornwall and now somerset.

IN EARLY 2025, ollie OFFICIALLY TOOK OVER daw refrigeration, anD WITH MARTIN CANN AS HIS RIGHT HAND MAN, the NEXT CHAPTER IS NOW STARTING TO QUICKLY TAKE SHAPE.

MAINTAINING AN EVEN SPLIT BETWEEN AIR CONDITIONING AND COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION, WHILST ALSO ENABLING FARMERS TO BECOME MORE EFFICIENT THROUGH USING ROBOTIC MILKING SYSTEMS, the business is VERY proud to back BRITISH farming AND BRITISH INDUSTRY.
